The North American E36 is the car equivalent of your SO saying “not now, I have a headache honey”
Just 1.5 tons of DENIAL

Why do you give your SO headaches?

Sounds like a personal problem

240hp is a healthy amount of hp. It’s more than enough for a sub-1500kg car.

I’m not really sure what that’s supposed to mean, especially coming from someone who took a Korean 2 ton “sports sedan” and made it notably heavier.

This car is a little older than you, so according to your mom, the headache must not have been that bad.

I believe that is the existence of every Hyundai made before 2005 and the all new sephia

basically the origin of “M Sport”

Lots of E36 M3 owners with later non-M cars that are just as fast or faster report that the E36 M3, while not earth shattering in speed, still feels special in a unique way compared to something like a E9X 328i.
Not to mention you can pick up about 30 or so horses with an intake manifold swap and tune.

Because he always tries to explain how his Kia is a performance car and not an econobox

The only people who think this about the US spec E36 M3 are either horsepower snobs or have never actually driven one and go off spec sheets. The handling is absolutely sublime and 240hp is more than enough for a 3,000lb car. Even my rusty, automatic, wore out sedan felt special.

This take isn’t even luke warm. It’s as cold as the week-old pizza in Justin Westbrook’s minifridge.

“I get it TAE, it’s a good car”
“But I haven’t even explained the limited slip differential!”

Just 1.9 tons of denial.

I think I hit a nerve here.

I... I am speechless.
Great burn

You might need this to get that burn treated immediately

Let me go fire up the 1.9 tons of denial in my parking bay to attend the hospital

Well, I saw one this morning (kudos to the owner, it was N E A T) and it stuck with me the rest of the day.
I never claimed the Stinger was a sport’s car, neither is it a luxury car. That’s just Kia’s marketing baloney

Shhh don’t tell them!

You know you’re my boy, right?
Nobody rips on the E36 M3 with impunity! :D

More like making love to your SO for the thousandth time: she may not be new and exciting, maybe she’s not the hottest thing on the block, and she won’t blow your mind with any special tricks, but she still knows what you like better than anybody else could.

I know you say it in a comedic way
I wasn’t expecting this much backlash to be fair, this doesn’t bode well for my next shitpost “Miatas aren’t always the answer”
